Dear wide,
Opening my heart
Was something I never aimed
Because I thought it would open the doors
To sorrow and pain.
Every man that I ever opened my heart to
Used or betrayed me
And let me feel like I am a shame.
But now I know
That I don’t need someone to feel love
My connection to the divine is showing me
That my beautiful soul
always carried unconditional love up above.
And I just have to let it be
To feel it like heaven on earth.
