Dear shame,

So often I felt that I am wrong.

That I am a stranger in this world.

But on the outside, I always hide,

Pretend to be strong and everything is right.

But deep down inside I always felt

That I should be ashamed that I am not like them.

But now I know,

That this is the real me.

And finally, I can see,

That it is exactly how it’s supposed to be.

So, I have to learn

To love me like it is.

No matter what another person thinks of me

And what they suggest.
