Dear future,

You are what I fear,

But you are also what I want to hear.

So often my mind was filled with doubt.

When I thought of you and what it’s all about.

I tried to control what will come near.

But I constantly ended again in fear.

The only way to become clear,

Is letting go of you,

Letting go of the fear.

Because I can’t control what is meant to be.

All I know is that I have to embrace love

To be finally free.
